My husband works out in the hot sun all day every day and he uses this to help keep the sun at bay. He loves his hat. He has used various other hats for this purpose and this one is the best he has had. While on vacation in Florida I forgot my sunglasses when we had our beach day and I stole his hat and I have to say it was pretty nice.Great hat, comfortable and key my head sage from the sun. I wore it in Jamaica all week and it was a lifesaver.The only complaint was that the badge in the hat was sewn on very crooked … very noticeably. For a hat I paid this price for it would have been nice to. Or have that as an issue.Maybe it’s a one off … but it was crooked enough people asked about it … lolI am picky and I got a big ass head. Went out on a limb and spent more money than I usually do on a hat and I am obsessed. Got all my friends buying one. Would Buy some moreThis hat is perfect for summertime fun in the Sun!! (Or year-round fun in the sun!!) I was looking for a hat that was stylish and able to keep the sun off of my face and chest! This hat meets all of my expectations! There is a rope that ties under the chin that keeps the hat on in windy conditions & the brim is wide enough to cover the chin and part of your chest! Love it!!!!Bought it as a gift for my dad for fishing. It fits him perfectly and he loves it.This is my 2nd Hemlock hat, they are the best! It will get out of shape if it gets too wet! Laying it flat will help bending/drooping if you get it wet.Really great print on these. Very comfortable to wear, and has stayed on in some really wild Midwest winds. My only beef is that it is a pretty fragile weave. I don't see this lasting too long.
