My hubby knew I wanted this hat and I love that he got it for me. This hat works anywhere, with anything you’re doing. I love wearing it out in the garden, while going on walks, shopping, fishing, hunting… anything!!I always have my long hair in a bunch at the beach, this hat is so perfect I can keep my hair up in the heat and protect my face from the sun.Cute, but it’s more of a visor than a traditional hat. The bow design on the back is a nice touch, and it has adjustable Velcro to help with ensuring a good fit. And despite how easy it is to fold up to travel with it still holds its shape.Lightweight and comfortable, but more for shade than sun protection. So not ideal if you have thinning hair or are looking for something to give you any level or sun protection. But cute nonetheless. Definitely worth trying for yourself.I originally bought this for more protection at the lake since it has a wide brim and allows me to wear my hair up. I like that it’s adjustable, but the material is a bit scratchy, and it doesn’t stay on well if you’re laying on a floaty. I also felt like my forehead, near my hair line, was getting burned since the hat is porous. This is something I would wear walking around or out to eat, but would not recommend if you want to lay on a floaty in a pool/lake/ocean & I would also recommend wearing some sort of bandana, etc…underneath for additional protection.So cute. Have 2.This sun hat is exactly what I was looking for. I can have my hair styled as desired for the day without the hat messing it up. The opening in the top is perfect for any hair style, and the cute bow on the back completes the look. I will be buying more for my upcoming beach trip. It folds up perfect for packing in the suitcase! The only possible downfall is that your scalp may burn with the top being open but this hat is one of a kind!Sturdy, not very adjustable but you have about an inch or so. Weave keeps all sun out. Protects ears and entire face.I got it in black, very classy looking, great if you wear your hair a certain style and don’t want to smash it with a standard hat with a crown. Very good for larger heads, thick hair, people with sensitive scalps, as it is completely adjustable. My ice head wrap even fits under it and no one can tell I have a conspicuous headband made of ice around my head, so again, very adjustable.One big problem is the SPF rating. It can’t be over 5 as the straw brim is full of tiny but numerous holes. It might not be enough to bother most people, but I thought the point of wearing the hat was to completely cover the face in shade. That being said, I am keeping the hat because it blocks enough sun from my eyes that I do feel a difference and am getting less migraine symptoms when I wear it, but I am also wearing the darkest glasses I have. If you are getting this hat to avoid wearing sunscreen or dark glasses, keep moving. If you are just looking for a little extra coverage on your face in addition to sunscreen and glasses and you want to look kind of sassy in the city or cute by the pool this summer, then this is the one.This is a very clever design and very nice quality. I find it a bit large - perhaps with practice I will be able to adjust it to fit better. Looks good - much more expensive than it was. I like to wrap-up nature for transport.Comfortable and easy to roll up and store for when you don't need itDoesn't look anything like the picture. Very deceiving
