I wore it a couple times last season and it kept me warm, has plenty of pocket space, is easy to move around in and I especially like how it has the elastic around the waist to keep the pow out. They tell me I can get snow up there if I were to wipe out.... like that's going to happenThis Burton line had a lot of material/color options and I am very pleased with my Bog Heather choice. While the pictures look good, I was worried that the coloring or material might look cheap, but the jacket looks very nice and can really function to ski in or hit restaurants and bars in, whereas some jackets look like they should just stay on the slopes. As for sizing, I am 6'2", more of a V-shaped body, 40-42" chest, weigh about 175, wear 35-36" shirt sleeves, and wear 34x34 pants/jeans. I often thought Burton jackets ran large in size, but as for this jacket, the large fits absolutely perfectly and is probably the best fitting of any ski jacket I have bought with not being too long/short and not being too baggy with just a shirt or not too tight with a vest or other light jacket/sweater underneath. For my size, the large fits just a little less baggy and a little less long then what is seen on the guy featured in the product pictures. But just a bit. And, of last note on fit, there is no bottom-up or dual zipper feature, meaning you can't zip open the coat from the bottom while the majority of the zipper is up. On a few snowboarding style coats, I really found this feature nice because these coats can run longer and this feature can give you a bit more flexible/airy feel by opening the zipper at bottom a few inches. However, on this coat, for my height and for the fit, it doesn't matter at all, as this feature would be useless since the fit is perfect. As for quality, visually, everything looks great. As for durability, haven't tested it out, but I have had several other Burton products and I think are great. I wouldn't have minded one more inside pocket, but there are plenty of outside pockets, both velcro and zipper. The media pocket is a velcro closure, whereas I wouldn't have minded zipper. But, it seems pretty secure as it also sits under the proximity of the velcro of the main front flap. Also, of note, I could have sworn I read somewhere that the two lower pocket flaps were just decorative atop the side zipped pockets. But, on this jacket model, they are real pockets (velcro closure) in addition to the zipped sides.Overall, I am as happy as can be with my purchase, and if I see a sale, I might grab another jacket in another color. This jacket is awesome. The insulation helps keep me warm while bombing fresh pow in the trees, the meshed vents are the easiest I’ve ever used and help me dump heat when I need to, the pockets are plentiful and useful, and I love the color. Only drawback, the bottom of the zipper is fixed, unlike other jackets that let you zip up from the bottom to creat more room at the hips. Not a deal breaker, just a slight inconvenience. This jacket fits great provides ample warmth and keeps you dry from the outside. On single digit temp days I was comfortable wearing only a base layer and long sleeve t shirt. On the high wind days I would add a fleece vest just in case. This jacket does not restrict movement and isn’t too baggy. For snow days and bluebird ones too. No nonsense coat for ripping the mountain and playing in the snow. Not the warmest coat, but is plenty for most days on the mountain with a little layering. Plus it looks great too.The lavender color is brighter than the pic.. Along with the grey being darker. The fabric is thin but the fit allows for layering under. I feel The jacket is over priced for what it is. The zipper is not great But the brand name is the reason my son was interested in getting another one like his last. Quality has diminished since our last purchase.Love this jacket. Well made and looks goodPerfect! Size run big. I am 5’10” 155lbs wear size small is perfect.First time wearing Burton, Covert Jacket and noticed that there was a draft coming from my neck. Not sure if the wind was coming in through the hood and making it's way along my neck. I'll give it a go.I got a XXL (I'm 6'4 280lbs) and the sleeves are long! But, I like it because you can hide your hands. They have Velcro so you can tighten up the wrists if your boarding. Chest area is nice and roomy, probably could wear a sweater underneath.Tested in Toronto, Jan 25/19 Weather: -26 and would recommend wearing a thick sweater or hoodie because the jacket still gets cold. The media pocket, is amongst meet the snow skirt which I don’t think is practical at all, unless you had a weather proof device. He loves this jacket. It is sleek and stylish while being very warm and snow repellent. It's been -12 to -17 recently and he is comfortable with this jacket on top of a regular cotton hoodie and t-shirt.Perks:Soft warm material inside the top of the zipper that covers all the way up to the nose.Soft warm material inside the hand pockets.Snow skirt.40% recycled Thermolite insulation.Awesome jacket for the price. Looks great, some good features like pit zips etc. Jacket is on the light side which is what I wanted. I run warm and I have option to layer. Chest pockets are good. Lower pockets are a bit of a miss. Would have liked to had the stash pockets. However, it’s still good value for the moneyim 6'0 and it's a little bit too long , but very hot , i live in quebec, i play outside at -20 , -25 and not problemDefinitely dislike the length of the jacket, it’s long for meI just tried it out for snowboardingUnfortunately there’s nothing I can do since it’s past the return window
